Payoneer Fees

We have updated the Payoneer Fees post. Check it out below how much Payoneer is going to be charging you for the transactions you’ll be making with it.

Payoneer is an online banking platform for Bloggers, Affiliate Marketers, Freelancers & all those who want to send payments & get paid by cross-border companies at very affordable fees. With that in mind, let’s learn everything about the Payoneer Fees, Payoneer Card fees and how much you’ll be charged by creating an account in this post.

Even though, just by having a verified Payoneer Account won’t cost you any fees except the Card that will cost you around $29.95 each year if you have activated & linked it with your account otherwise using Payoneer is totally free.

As you may know, Payoneer has various methods of withdrawing, transacting & funding methods & ways for which there are various charges & fees associated with your account, as well. If you’re new to Payoneer or you wanna know about its fees then you’re here in the right place. We’re going to take you through the following Payoneer Fees table that will help you understand their Fees that how much you’ll be charged for each transaction you make through Payoneer.

Payoneer Card Fees

If you’re using Payoneer ATM Card and want to know how much Payoneer will cost you for each time you withdraw money through ATM using your Card, while making shopping online or offline in-stores then check out this Fees table here.

So in short, these are the fees that are associated with your Payoneer Card.

In the below table, you can learn how much you will be charged by Payoneer if you will make payment worldwide or any of your clients or anyone else send a payment to you through his/her Payoneer Account.

Payoneer Receive Payment Fees:

Payment TypesFees

Make A PaymentFree

Also note, each time you receive payments from any online marketplaces such as Ad Networks, Affiliate Networks or any other marketplace, you will be charged $2 by Payoneer (the payment will be transferred to your account within 2 to 3 days) while if you choose the Immediate Transfer, you will be charged $5 by Payoneer the payment will be transferred to your account within 2 hours.

Here are some more details on what are the Payoneer Fees (hidden from you 🙂 Just kidding) to check out for your better understandings.

Payoneer Bank Transfer Fees

Normally Payoneer charges only $5.95 or $9.95 in some countries from your funds however the rest of the fee from your fund will be charged by your bank.

Payoneer ATM Withdrawal Fees

As I have mentioned above, Payoneer will only charge you $3.15 from the amount you withdraw however the ATM from which you’re withdrawing your funds will also charge you so normally you’ll be charged around $7 or $7.95 on your total ATM Withdrawal.

Fiverr to Payoneer Fees

No matter you’re withdrawing funds from Fiverr or any other marketplace, the normal withdrawal fee Payoneer will charge you is $2, however, if you want instant funds loading, Payoneer will charge you $5 and the funds will be transferred to your account within an hour.

Payoneer Annual Fees

It’s all free to Sign Up for Payoneer and there are no fees for just creating an account & maintaining it. However, upon ordering a Payoneer MasterCard & linking it with your account, Payoneer will charge you $29.95 each year as long as it doesn’t expire.

Payoneer Exchange Fees

Normally when you withdraw payments from your Payoneer account in a different currency via a bank account, there’s 2% conversion/exchange rate set by Payoneer, however, the Payoneer MasterCard conversion/exchange fees is 3.5% of the total amount you withdraw.

Is there Payoneer Monthly Fee?

No, Payoneer doesn’t charge you any monthly fee or any maintenance fee but for every transaction that you’ll be making via Payoneer & withdrawing money through ATM will cost you fees.

Is Payoneer Fees Calculator Available?

Most of the web users search for Payoneer Fees Calculator but in fact, Payoneer fees are different for every transaction & every activity so there is no tool or Calculator that you can use to calculate your Payoneer Expenses & Fees. However, you can check your Payoneer Statement to know how much funds you have received and spent via your Payoneer account & ATM.

Conclusion

After all, we concluded that just by signing up for a Payoneer Account, there are no fees but as long as you’re using the Payoneer Card, the $29.95 fee will be charged each year and also upon receiving payments via Payoneer from any marketplace, there’s a separate $2 to $5 fee for Normal & Instant Withdrawal.

I hope you enjoyed this post. In case you have any question regarding our post then don’t forget to leave your comments below and happily I’d be back to you soon.

I live in the Dominican Republic, i want to know if i use my card in local stores what is the conversion rate from dollars because we use dominican pesos. Is better to withdraw the money in an atm or using the money directly as a card is a better option knowing we dont pay in dollars in my country. (i tried withdrawing a payment and the bank charged me around 18 dollars for a 135 us dollars payment

      Hey Bro Abel,
I’m sorry for the late response but I could not reach out to you.
IF you have balance (in Dollar $) in your account and if you want to make online or offline purchases in local stores then there are no fees however if you want to make purchases in a different currency than the balance you have in your Payoneer Account then Payoneer charges around 3.5% of the total payment you pay to the store.

However now Payoneer does support multiple currencies and you can fund your Payoneer account in multiple currencies and can make payments in multiple currencies to save Payoneer Fees & Cost!

      Hope this helps.

      Hello @MUHAMMAD,
Did you sign up for Payoneer using our deal link? Did you create an account with Payoneer & was it confirmed by Payoneer sending you a confirmation email? If your account is confirmed & you have signed up using our bonus link then soon your will receive Payoneer MasterCard on the address you have provided just after 20 to 40 days after applying for an account.

Upon receiving a payment to your Payoneer account, you will also earn $25 to $50 bonus if you have signed up using our bonus link.

You can also withdraw as much as you can using Payoneer to Bank Transfer method. MasterCard withdrawal limit per transaction is I think $220. You can make multiple transactions at the same time.

      Hello @Anastasia,
Yes, you can transfer money from your Payoneer Card to your local bank Account.
If you transfer money from Payoneer to your local bank account in same currency then you will be charged $1.5 ONLY such as USD to USD or EUR to EUR etc.
However, if you transfer money in different currency then you will be charged up to 2% of your total payment you transfer.

      Hope this clarifies.

No, there is no specified limit but while withdrawing & transferring payments, you will definitely see the limit amount there and if you don’t see at the time of transferring payments, then that means you can transfer the amount you choose.

Payoneer does not provide any direct way to fund your Payoneer Account however it does allow you to get paid by US Companies & US Bank Accounts i.e Bank Account (Probably in US Only, even though I’m not sure enough about this) & Credit Card.

You seem quite informative, two quick questions i have.
    1. If we have linked a local bank account with payoneer, would that be only bank to get the money from or we can use any atm.
    2. Can we get the money in dollars in pakistan.

Here are answers to your questions.
      1. Payoneer lets you withdraw your funds right to your local bank account as well as using ATM using the Card you will receive for your Payoneer Account. [If you have received the fund into your local bank account then you can also use your local bank account ATM Card to withdraw those funds]

      2. No, each time you withdraw money, it will be in the respective currency such as in Pakistan, it will be in PKR, In UAE, it will be in AED, In USA, it will be in Dollars etc.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further question.

    Hi Alex,

I am a newbie here and your replies have been very informative. Thanks for the sharing so far. Can I ask you a few questions:

    1) I recently received and activated my Payoneer Debit Mastercard and I noticed there is a USD2.82 automatic load to debit card charges for USD 320. So I assume this is the standard rate by %? How do I disable the automatic load to debit card?

    2) There are also two very steep charges for two payments made to me ” Online Payment fee Payment.” The first one I was charged USD20.09 for a payment of USD669.63 and the second I was charged USD14.60 for a payment of USD486.69. So what’s going on?

Looking forward to your advise. Thanks.

      Hello @Adrian,

Thank you for commenting on payoneerhow.com
      .
Each time you receive payments from marketplaces & international clients in the US Dollars (USD), your funds are automatically transferred to your Payoneer Account which you can use that fund to make online purchases, withdraw to your local bank account & make an ATM Withdrawal, too. [You can get paid in other currencies as well including Euro, Japan etc)

The second question you asked was how much I will be charged for each payment that I receive? So here’s the answer to your question.

While receiving funds & money from Marketplaces like Ad Networks, Affiliate Networks, Freelance Sites & other sites, you will be charged $2 for each transaction (takes 2 days) & $5 if you want to make the transaction within 2 hours which is also called as Immediate Loan.

If you receive payments from other Payoneer Customers then there is no fee on both sides.

If you fund your account from Local Bank Accounts in the US, Japan etc (using Global Payment Service) then you will be charged 1% of that money such as if you fund your account of $100 from a US Bank Account using the Global Payment Service then you will be charged only $1 for that one transaction.

Hopefully, these answers helpful to you. If still, you have any question, let me know by replying here.

        HI Alex,
Thanks for the prompt reply. If I understand this correctly on the 1% charge then for my USD669.63 payment I should be charged with USD6.70 instead of USD20.09 and my second payment of USD486.69 should be charged USD4.87 instead of USD14.60?

This is what I am struggling to understand.

      1. You Receive Cross-Border payments from Clients & online Marketplaces such as Ad Networks, Affiliate Networks, Freelance Sites etc.
      2. You can fund your account directly from US Banks, Euro Banks etc. [Check your Global Payment Service].

You can apply & register with Payoneer right from that country but receiving a Card takes 20 to 40 days or around that so the bottom line of the answer would be You cannot receive the Card within such limited days.

You will be charged by Payoneer $29.95 for a year for using & activating their Card with your Account.

Do you already have a Payoneer Account? If not, simply read our Step by Step Payoneer Sign UP Guide.
If you already have Payoneer account then you might use the MasterCard or as you said the Card to deposit & withdraw money from cex.io quickly, easy & with less fees.
It’s quite easy to withdraw funds from cex.io.
All you need to do is simply log into your account, go to the withdrawal page, link your Payoneer account with Cex.io & then proceed according to the instructions & you’ll be able to receive & withdraw funds to your Payoneer Account.

You can deposit funds to Cex.io from Payoneer as well.

          Hello @Muhammad,
The first thing is that if You have signed up for Payoneer account, you’ll need to receive payments to your account before the Card Order option appears (This restriction is limited to a few countries only).

You cannot use & link any third-party Cards and no one outside Payoneer can send & ship it to you. You don’t need to pay anything for the Payoneer Card to receive. All you have to do is order a genuine ATM Card right from your Payoneer Account.

The last answer is You cannot hold more than 1 Payoneer account under your NIC or Passport Number. However, you can apply for a new account using your family or friends’ NIC, Passport or Driving License.

          Hope this helped you.

Hi Alex, I’m thinking of joining Payoneer, but after reading this post, I still have a few questions :

Do I have to pay the annual 29,95$ fee for the card if I will never use it? (I already have a free Mastercard of my bank). Or do I pay for it the first time, and not activate it the next year? How does this work?

Are Photo Stock Agencies considered as Marketplaces? I will receive payments from them in USD and I live in Europe, so withdrawing to my bank account will be in Euros : that’s 3,5% off for currency exchange + 1$ for bank withdrawal? Or did I understand wrong?

Thanks for your patience with us! You’re very helpful.

      Hello @Anneke,
Thank you for commenting on PayoneerHow.

Payoneer does not charge you anything except their Payoneer Card. If you don’t order & link it with your account, you won’t be charged. And, as you said, you have your local bank ATM CARD, so you cannot link it with your Payoneer account but you can withdraw funds from your Payoneer account to your local bank account & easily withdraw it through your local bank atm card.

Photo Stock Agencies are considered as Marketplaces and each time you receive payments from them in US Dollars and then you withdraw those funds right to your bank account, you will be charged up to 2% by Payoneer for exchanging the currency from US Dollars into Euros and some more funds transferring fee might be deducted by your local bank account.

Hope this helps. If you have any question, please let me know by replying here.

So the 3.5% is only for purchases in a different currency, and the 2% is for exchanging currency for a withdrawal? Sorry for asking again, but that is a BIG difference.

        1. Alex Post author

I think you’re confused because I have mentioned 3.5% in the above comment. If you purchase anything in Euro using your Payoneer Card and your account balance is in US Dollars then you’ll be charged up to 3.5% as mentioned on the Payoneer official Site.

However, you’ll be only charged 2.5% for withdrawing funds into bank account in a different currency.

3.5% applies to Online Purchase while 2.5% fee applies to withdrawing funds from Payoneer to a bank account.

Thanks Alex! That is clear! I will visit the Payoneer website and see if I can find which exchange rates they use. Right now I’m being paid with PayPal, which results in a difference of about 3,5 to 4% with the official exchange rates, so 2 or 2,5% would really be interesting. Thanks again!

          2. Deborah

You’ll only be charged by Payoneer up to 2.5% BUT your bank WILL charge you more a fee as well. My bank charged me 0.125% which is around $100USD when I made a withdrawal.

BEWARE. Payoneer withdrawal comes with a HUGE con, check with your local bank first how much they will charge for International Transactions coming from Payoneer. No one tells you this.

        2. Jacqueline Knorr

      Hello @Ghulam,
      Thank you for commenting.

When I withdrew 300AED using the ATM, Payoneer along with the ATM cut 28 AED from my account. So this can happen to you as well but the amount you withdraw through any ATM does not increase the Fees but instead, you’ll be charged 20 to 30AED for the transaction of any amount.

Withdrawing money in USD (Dollars) from any ATM will help you reduce the fees because the ATM won’t charge any exchange fees.

      Hope you got it.

Since my last comment/question, I signed up with Payoneer, and I changed my payment settings on 1 agency to Payoneer without problems. For this, I logged into the agency, changed the setting to Payoneer, and had to log-in to Payoneer to finish the setting. This felt safe and secure. However, now I want to change my settings at another agency, and they just ask for my payment address. Do I just fill in my user name ?

If your agency is accepting Payoneer then choose Payoneer as a payout method and it will then redirect you to the Payoneer website and there you can easily link your Payoneer account with the Agency you work with and by following this step, you’ll be able to request payments through Payoneer.

      2. If you withdraw funds using ATM or Payoneer MasterCard through ATM in a different currency than the one you have balance in your account then there will be around 3.5% conversion fees by Payoneer while $3.5 fee will be charged by Payoneer MasterCard.
      3. There is no monthly or annually fees by Payoneer except the Payoneer Card Activation & then Renewal fee each year which is $29.95 as you have already mentioned.

Let me know if you have any other question related to Payoneer.

      Regards,

    Hello Alex
I register with payoneer 3 years ago and my debit card was sent but I never used the account.
Now I want to use the account,Please how can I get another debit card and will I be charged again for it or can still use my previous debit card sent to me 3 years ago.
And again when I logged into my account, I noticed the card was deactivated which I activated again so I was wondering if I can still use the card or I need another one and how to get it.

      Hello @Joseph,
Thank you for commenting on payoneerhow.com
      .

Since you received your card three years ago, I’m sure you cannot use it because every card expires after 2 Years. The expiring date is written on the front of your Card. Kindly check it and if it’s expired, then just log into your Payoneer Account and go to Request A New Card page and request a new Card for your Account.

If you have order Card for your Account and linked it to your account, you will be charged $29.95 Yearly for using the Card whether you use it or not.

Can I transfer funds from my payoneer card to my local bank account using my local ATM ? Because the minimum amount for bank transfer for my country is $1000 and this is way too high. Also if I decide to do the withdrawal by means of ATM, the fees accumulates as am not allowed to make huge withdrawal from the machine. I have $680 to withdraw.

      Hey Gbenga,

Withdrawing funds from your Payoneer Account through Payoneer ATM Card will cost you a lot of fees including conversion fees & bank withdrawal fees however if you would like to withdraw through Local Bank account then it will save you a lot of fees & charges and also there’s no limit on how much you can withdraw through local bank account but the minimum withdrawal amount is $50 for local bank withdrawal.

    Hi Alex.

I would like to know – If funds have been transferred to my Payoneer prepaid card but I don’t want to use the Payoneer card for withdrawal, can I still make the withdrawal with my local bank account? Because right now I don’t want to use the prepaid Payoneer card because of the huge charge fees attached to it.

I earn relatively average (not much) money via ads network, and I don’t even want to have that significant decrease in my money while withrawing.
So is it possible for me to withdraw with my local bank transfer from funds originally transferred to my Payoneer card?

    Reply
    1. Alex Post author

      Hey @Shina,

Normally Payoneer does not put your balance just either in your Payoneer Prepaid Card or your Payoneer Account but rather you can use your funds/balance using any method and even can withdraw either through Payoneer Card using ATM or you can easily withdraw through Local Bank Account.

It doesn’t matter whether you have funds in your Payoneer Account or Payoneer MasterCard.

No money is required before ordering a Payoneer MasterCard. However, in some countries, you’ll need to have at least $100 in your Payoneer Account before the Payoneer MasterCard Order option appears. There out are a bunch of ways you can use to receive payments to your Payoneer Account such as you can receive payments from Ad Networks, Freelance Sites such as Fiverr, UpWork etc or you can directly receive payments from other Payoneer Customers etc.

Yes you could get the Payoneer $25 Bonus before but now you will be required to receive at least $1000 to get that bonus. Before the requirement for receiving the $25 Bonus was $100 only.

By the way, if you have signed up using our new Payoneer affiliate link then you would earn $35 to $50 instead of $25.

For anyone reading this, beware that while Payoneer may not charge that much for withdrawal to local banks, your local banks will charge you a LARGE SUM of money (in my country is 0.125% and transactions have to be more than u$d 1001 – so that’s u$d100 right off the bat). So you’ll lose the 2% from Payoneer + 0.125% plus local taxes from your bank.

It’s best to withdraw money from an ATM in USD.

      Hey @Chistina,

You can’t link any third-party ATM Card or Credit Card with Payoneer but you can order a new Payoneer Card.
There is only $29.95 yearly Payoneer Card fees and normally when you request payments or any company you work with sends you Payments then you’ll be able to get that payments transferred to your Payoneer Account for $2 or $5 only.
$2 for two days transfer while $5 for instant two hours payments transfer.

    Helpful information, thank you.

Local banks here do not accept checks paid in US dollars so I had to sign up with Payoneer so that I can have a US bank account. I can then withdraw my payments via Payoneer to a local bank account. A colleague advised me not to use the Payoneer Master card because it comes with hefty charges; however, I can’t withdraw payments to my local bank account without activating the Master card.

My main concern is whether I still have to pay a monthly fee after paying the annual activation fee. I have searched for answers in the Payoneer Community but couldn’t get any helpful response.

Withdrawing through Local Bank Account in same currency will cost you around $5.95 to $9.95 however I’m not sure how much fees does Payoneer charge exactly and probably the Bank will also charge you a fee for making a transaction or funding your account.
However funding your local bank account from Payoneer in a different currency will charge you around 2% of the total amount apart from the $5.95 to $9.95 bank withdrawal fees.

Hello Alex, I have been using Payoneer from quite some time now. I am located in Bulgaria where the currency is BGN. At the moment it trades for about 1.71 to the USD. However,on my ATM withdrawals which normally are 400 BGN each , I get charged about $250, which would set the rate to 1.61 , or to explain it in other words , I get about $11.50 to $12 fees on each withdrawal. as seen in my transactions page. I only noticed that recently and i was living with the asumption that $3.15 is the only fee Payoneer will charge upon ATM withdrawal.
$12 fee on $250 withdrewn is not really a great deal, but maybe I am doing something wrong ?

      Hey @Aleks,

Withdrawing money from your Payoneer Account via ATM is very much costly & they cost a lot of fees. Normally when I myself withdraw money from my Payoneer Account via an ATM, I’m normally charged around $8 by Payoneer and the maximum amount that I can withdraw at one time using my Card is just $210. But instead of withdrawing via ATM I’d highly recommend you to Link your Local Bank Account with Payoneer and withdrawing via your Local Bank Account would help you save a lot of fees and also this is the recommended method for withdrawing money from your Payoneer Account according to Payoneer Official Team.

Hi! Thanks for this great post Alex, a few more questions about usage in 2019. I have a EUR bank card and plan to use it when I travel in Austria/France in a few weeks. I plan to use it mostly for hotel bookings, shopping etc. Recently I’ve started using it and I’ve noticed that sometimes the card charges exactly what you’ve paid for, but sometimes they have a 20% extra fee. I’ve read multiple posts on Payoneer forum and it seems like they are “holding” a certain amount for things like hotel reservations. Have you any experience with this? Do you know if these “extra” charges get refunded back to the card user? It’s rather ridiculous but I’ve made the stupid mistake of asking for a card, and now I can’t do much other than use that money off of the card now.

Another question: my account address is in the United States, but I plan to withdraw EUR at an ATM inside the Euro zone (in Austria/France). Other than the standard ATM withdrawal fee they have listed, do you know if they charge you any currency exchange fees? I am not talking about the ATM (i.e. “dispensing” bank’s fees), since this is something entirely independent to that bank/ATM I am using, but I mean any additional Payoneer +MasterCard fees.

    Thank you!

Today, I was surprised to find that the Withdraw Minimum threshold is $ 50. Will this Withdraw Minimum threshold of $ 50 be permanent or it may return in $ 1000. What are the conditions and factors of this possible change, or may we ask to fix it?
